The property is located on Celsiusstreet in the newly developed Frauenwald business park. The northern extension to the existing building consists of the main assembly hall and the delivery halls to the west and northeast. The delivery hall in the west is attached to the assembly hall and, as a reinforced concrete structure, houses the connecting pathway to the existing building as well as meeting rooms, sanitary facilities, and technical rooms.

Cantilevered structures, folded metal cladding, dark bases, and ribbon-like windows are the unifying elements. However, one thing these buildings are certainly not: twins. Instead, they are individual architectures that correspond and interact with each other.

First Second & Third Floor

The assembly hall is designed as a north-facing sawtooth roof structure. The main beams, constructed as three-span girders made from open steel profiles, span 43.80 meters each and are supported on columns. The secondary beams consist of simple under-tensioned open steel profiles with a purlin construction oriented in an east-west direction. The roof structure is composed of acoustic trapezoidal sheet metal, thermal insulation, and a KALZIP aluminum roof.

Elevation and Section

RWA (smoke and heat extraction) and ventilation wings are positioned at the top of the glazing. The south, east, and west facades are designed as glazed mullion-transom constructions in both the lower and shed areas. The closed sections are clad with metal cassettes containing insulation and feature a rear-ventilated Alucobond façade. The north side is fully glazed and connects to the auxiliary rooms, serving as a separation from the subsequent construction phase 3.
